Transcript: Sassy Outwater-Wright Makes the Business Case for Implementing Accessible Technology

PEAT asked Sassy Outwater-Wright of Massachusetts Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired: If you were riding in an elevator with a Fortune 500 CEO what’s your pitch for why implementing accessible technology matters?

Implementing assistive technology and accessibility matters because that’s how I do my job. If I don’t have that then I cannot go to work and perform my job functions to the best of my abilities. That would be like sending you to work without your legs, your eyes, or your brain. No one would consider doing that; why would anyone do that to me?
