Accessibility & Inclusion Are Key
Whether your employees telework, work in an office or you have a hybrid workplace, you must consider accessibility and inclusion in all instances. Before you procure XR technologies for your workplace, make sure to consider how they will be used by people with diverse needs, backgrounds, cultures and abilities.
For example, you can make sure that employees with disabilities have equal access to XR tools by using this Toolkit to guide your adoption. Remember that everyone has to start somewhere, and it’s okay to ask for help. You will learn more about accessibility basics and how to get started in Section 4 of this Toolkit.
As with any new technology you bring into the workplace, think about how to implement XR with equity and inclusion in mind. When your workplace adopts XR technologies, you will notice the direct relationship between how accessible the tools are and how effective they are for your employees.
