PEAT Talks: Sharing Success from the WWW+W4A Accessibility Hackathon

In honor of Global Accessibility Awareness Day 2016 (GAAD), the organizers and winners of the international WWW+W4A Accessibility Hackathon met to discuss the innovations that resulted from the event. In April 2016, this internationally-focused hackathon challenged participants to take a popular web-based product used widely in workplaces and schools, H5P, and make it accessible to all users.

Featured speakers include:

  • Volker Sorge, Managing Director of Progressive Accessibility Solutions, and a member of the winning team
  • Svien-Tore Griff With, Managing Director of Joubel, the primary inventor and architect of H5P, and a hackathon judge
  • Greg Gay, 2016 Web For All (W4A) Conference Chair and hackathon judge
