Transcript: Bobby Silverstein, Principal at Powers Pyles Sutter and Verville
PEAT asked Bobby Silverstein, Principal at Powers Pyles Sutter & Verville: “In ten years, what ideas, initiatives, policies or best practices will have had the biggest possible impact on accessible technology and the employment of people with disabilities?”
Silverstein: In ten years, I think what would make the greatest impact is if the policy was crystal clear in terms of the obligation of employers to make accessible their information communication technology, so the ultimate goal would be a website developer who is contracted with by an employer, would just simply say as part of regular business, of course the website will be accessible, so to make it part of basic bottom line responsibilities.
