Building the Future of Work

What is PEAT?
The Partnership on Employment & Accessible Technology (PEAT)
Our mission is to foster collaborations in the technology space that build inclusive workplaces for people with disabilities. Our vision is a future where new and emerging technologies are accessible to the workforce by design.
Only 40.4% of adult job seekers with disabilities are in the labor force, compared to 78.0% of those without disabilities. This is a staggering gap in workforce participation that inclusive technologies can help close.
Data reflects information collected in October 2023. View the most up-to-date statistics from the U.S. Department of Labor.

Creating accessible emerging technologies involves a wide range of stakeholders. We create resources for employers, employees, technology leaders, and others on their journey toward inclusion.
We Build & Support Communities
We play an active role in innovative communities that are creating an accessible workplace of the future. We advise the XR Access and Teach Access initiatives, and we lead the PEAT Think Tank.
